Cheesy Chicken - Mommy Hull Style

Thursday 9-19-2013

Transformation.... How to transform a frozen dinner into something your husband or kiddo's will eat.  I don't like frozen dinners but this particular brand after transformation turned out to be really good.  The cheese and spices set the tone.  Try it out.

Cheesy Chicken - Mommy Hull Style

Ingredients:

Birds Eye Voila Cheesy Chicken Frozen Dinner (Family Size)
1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
1/3 Cup of Water
1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
2 tablespoons Granulated Onion Seasoning
2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
Pepper (to taste)
Paprika (a dash or two)
1 Cup Grated White Cheddar (From Sprouts)*

* This is not a pasteurized cheese and Sprouts is the only place I can find it.  It has a very sharp unique taste and it really brings out the taste of the dish.

Directions:

Open the frozen dinner and remove the cheese packages.

Add 1/3 cup of water and 1/3 cup of heavy cream to a heavy skillet.

Add in the cheese packages that were included with the frozen dinners.

Add in the remaining contents of the frozen dinner and cover.

Follow direction on the bag (omitting the water).

Once you are able to stir all ingredients all your spices (you may add more or less spices as desired).

Do not over cook or your pasta and veggie will be mushy, remember this dish will steam.

Remove from heat and fold in cheese (you may add more or less cheese as desired).

Yummy!
